The Civil Air Regulations are the rules that prescribed civil aviation .Civil aviation is one of two major categories of flying, representing all non-military aviation, both private and commercial.The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) is an independent regulatory body . The organisation has a number of directorates, covering a broad range of portfolios pertaining to civil aviation regulation. CAAN is responsible for the provision of air navigation services, aviation safety oversight, airport operations as well as the training of staff at its Civil Aviation Academy.
Government of Nepal has made the following Rules, by exercising the power conferred by Section 3 of the Civil Aviation Act, 2015 (1958).
